ശ്രീകാര്യം, വട്ടിയൂര്‍ക്കാവ്, കുടപ്പനക്കുന്ന്, വിഴിഞ്ഞം, കഴക്കൂട്ടം എന്നീ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തുകളുടെ ഭൂപ്രദേശങ്ങള്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരം കോര്‍പ്പറേഷനിലേക്കും ഏലത്തൂര്‍, ചെറുവണ്ണൂര്‍-നല്ലളം, ബേപ്പൂര്‍ എന്നീ ഗ്രാമ പഞ്ചായത്തുകളുടെ ഭൂപ്രദേശങ്ങള്‍ കോഴിക്കോട് കോര്‍പ്പറേഷനിലേക്കും വരത്തക്കവണ്ണം സംയോജിപ്പിക്കുവാന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിരുന്ന വിജ്ഞാപനത്തിന്റെ പ്രാബല്യത്തീയതി 2010 നവംബര്‍ 1 ആക്കി ഭേദഗതി ചെയ്യുവാന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.

Governor of Kerala have notified the areas in Pookode and Thaikkad Village Panchayats to be smaller urban areas for the purpose of Part IX A of the Constitution of India with effect from the 1st day of October, 2010. The newly elected Committees/Councils can take office on 1st November, 2010 only, the Government have decided to amend the date of effect of the said notification as 1st day of November, 2010 instead of 1st day of October 2010.

മൂന്നാര്‍ ഗ്രാമ പഞ്ചായത്ത് വിഭജിച്ച് സൊസൈറ്റിക്കുടി കേന്ദ്രമാക്കി ഇടമലക്കുടി എന്ന പേരില്‍ പുതിയതായി ഒരു ഗ്രാമ പഞ്ചായത്ത് രൂപീകരിച്ച വിജ്ഞാപനത്തിന്റെ പ്രാബല്യത്തീയതി 2010 നവംബര്‍ 1 ആക്കി ഭേദഗതി ചെയ്യുവാന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.

Governor of Kerala have notified the areas in Nattokam, Kumaranelloor, Thiruvankulam, Pookode, Thaikkad, Porathissery and Methala Grama Panchayats to be the smaller urban areas and Sreekariyam, Vattiyoorkavu, Kudappanakunnu, Vizhinjam, Kazhakuttom, Elathur, Cheruvannur-Nallalam and Beypore Grama Panchayats to be larger urban areas for the purpose of Part IX A of the Constitution of India with effect from the 1st day of October, 2010. In view of the fact that the General Election 2010 to the Local Self Government Institutions in the State are scheduled to be held on October 23rd and 25th , 2010 so that the newly elected Committees/Councils can take office on 1st November, 2010, the Government have decided to amend the date of effect of the said notification as 1st day of November, 2010, instead of 1st day of October 2010.

2010 നവംബര്‍ ഒന്നാം തീയതിക്കു മുന്‍പായി കാലാവധി അവസാനിക്കുന്ന ഓരോ മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റിക്കും നിലവിലുള്ള കാലാവധി അവസാനിക്കുതു മുതല്‍ പൊതുതെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനുശേഷം മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റികള്‍ പുനര്‍രൂപീകരിക്കുതുവരെയുള്ള കാലയളവിലേക്ക് ഭരണ നിര്‍വ്വഹണത്തിനുവേണ്ടി സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരായ ഭരണ നിര്‍വ്വഹണ കമ്മിറ്റി നിയമിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള വിജ്ഞാപനം

2010 നവംബര്‍ ഒന്നാം തീയതിക്കു മുന്‍പായി കാലാവധി അവസാനിക്കുന്ന ഓരോ പഞ്ചായത്തിനും നിലവിലുള്ള ഭരണ സമിതികളുടെ കാലാവധി അവസാനിക്കുതു മുതല്‍ പൊതുതെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനുശേഷം പഞ്ചായത്തുകള്‍ പുനര്‍രൂപീകരിക്കുതുവരെയുള്ള കാലയളവിലേക്ക് ഭരണ നിര്‍വ്വഹണത്തിനുവേണ്ടി സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരായ ഭരണ നിര്‍വ്വഹണ കമ്മിറ്റി നിയമിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള വിജ്ഞാപനം
